Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of the QuickSOP service. By using QuickSOP, you agree to comply with this policy. Violations may result in suspension or termination of your account.

1. Permitted Use

QuickSOP is designed for creating legitimate Standard Operating Procedures and process documentation. Acceptable uses include:

  • Documenting step-by-step procedures for employee training and onboarding
  • Documenting business workflows and processes
  • Creating how-to guides for software and web applications
  • Building knowledge bases for teams and organizations
  • Personal productivity documentation

2. Prohibited Uses

You may not use QuickSOP to:

  • Capture unauthorized content — Document or capture information from websites, applications, or systems you do not have authorization to access or document.
  • Collect personal data without consent — Use the documentation feature to capture personal information of others (such as their data or credentials) without their knowledge and consent.
  • Violate intellectual property — Reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from copyrighted content captured during documentation sessions without proper authorization.
  • Engage in surveillance — Use QuickSOP as a surveillance or monitoring tool. QuickSOP is designed for self-directed workflow documentation, not for observing others.
  • Circumvent security — Attempt to bypass, disable, or interfere with any security features of the Service or any third-party website or service.
  • Abuse the Service — Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the Service, or deliberately attempt to overload or disrupt the Service.
  • Illegal activity — Use the Service for any purpose that violates applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
  • Harmful content — Create SOPs that promote violence, discrimination, harassment, or illegal activity.
  • Impersonation — Misrepresent your identity or affiliation when using the Service.
  • Credential harvesting — Use the documentation feature to capture login credentials, financial information, or other sensitive data belonging to others.

3. Resource Limits

To ensure fair use for all users:

  • Each documentation session is limited to 100 steps
  • Storage limits apply based on your subscription plan
  • API rate limits are enforced to prevent abuse
  • Excessive use that impacts other users may result in throttling

4. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, please report it to us at support@quicksop.com. We investigate all reports and take appropriate action.

5. Enforcement

We may, at our sole discretion, suspend or terminate accounts that violate this AUP. For minor or first-time violations, we may issue a warning. Serious violations may result in immediate termination without prior notice.

6. Changes

We may update this AUP from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
